Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk is a Canadian actress who was born in Fredericton New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she is a drama teacher on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother while at work, and also attending play rehearsals. Silk played a role as a young model in a commercial. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was involved in at least two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk relocated to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. After that, she relocated in Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she met during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. They got married in 2009 and married with a civil ceremony December of that year. On April 10 2011 they renewed their vows at the Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second child was born in the month of May 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the final episode of the third season. The actress announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special that aired on 6 January 2013. Silk tweeted on June 20th that she's ready to go back to her work. The 4th of June 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production for the fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo together with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E!
